Take a moment to read this, it will only take the same amount of time as it takes to read your facebook feed on your phone 3 times because you’re bored and procrastinating… oh wait that’s me, you should still read it anyway.

These blobs of sound have been assembled over the past 5 years and compiled over a month or so with some further tweaking, some of the seeds of these blobs started as far back as 2008,
the main reason for this is that I never feel satisfied with the something sounds, so I keep chipping away at it until I grow deaf to the subtleties and bored, so I move on to something else, then a few months later (or more) I’ll listen back and realise that “oh yeah, that’s actually pretty awesome”. I also struggle with feeling that what I’m working on isn’t long enough or short enough or pink enough, then one day I realised “Who cares if a blob of sound is 0.1 seconds or 639 years long, if it’s enjoyable and feels complete then so be it”. This was what helped me to stop sitting on my eggs and let them hatch.

Give these blobs a listen, I won’t be at all offended if you don’t like them, to be honest I only know a handful of people who already listen to this sort of thing already. However, have a think if there is someone in your life who might get a kick out of this and send it to them.

I contemplated getting this properly mastered but I figured that a lot of what I like about these blobs is the mistakes and the the extremities, I would be worried that if it were mastered properly, there would be nothing left and I would end up getting sued by the Cage family, and I don’t mean relatives the Ford-Coppola’s.
